GUAM Episode #04: Dr. Alan Koslow and The Heinlein Blood Drive

Yes, we are back!

And thank you all for listening. The Give Us a Minute crew is coming back with a newfound determination and our first interview. The guest giving us a minute of his time is Dr. Alan Koslow or “Doc” as he is known on the con circuit and the Internet. Not only is he a Ph.D. and M.D. with a passion for podcasts, but Doc is also helping to run The Robert A. Heinlein Blood Drive at Dragon*Con 2007 in Atlanta, GA. He explains why blood drives like this are so important to cancer patients, and give details on how you can participate in the drive as a donor, volunteer, or a publicist!

Also, podcaster Dani Cutler passes along to Give Us a Minute word on a Bone Marrow Donor Registry Drive happening in Tempe, Arizona on August 23, 2007. Click here for more details.

Even though I’m not going to go to D*C (pout) I have a lot of friends on James Marsters chat boards who are going so I sent out a message to them pimping the blood drive. I also sent James’ manager an email asking him to have James mention the blood drive during all his panels. Who better to ask than a vampire, right?
